Calling all "X's" with a lowered suspension!
@ ajw2495
i have the same ride ... i'm currently dropped on the Z/G combo and it looks fine to me (drop was 1.2F and 1.1R after it settled)
the draw back is the back is a bit bouncy meaning when you drive over bumps your *** will bounce when ur sitting in the back u wont noticed it but when someone is driving behind you they will plus if you go over large bumps on the road you will "feel" it in the front like your shocks are going to give out but IMO its prolly cuz i have 19" Rays and the tires have a 40 series sidewall so not alot of meat to cushin the blow
i didn't have any camber issue as the drop was mild if you have the money buy coilovers BC Racing, Megan, D2 Racing are coils that fit and work well with a 1st gen X but front and rear camber kits will be necessary b/c you will want to go MOAR LOW after :P
hope this helps

If you had to guess, if I were to buy that all right now, how much would it cost about?
EDIT: i have 19x8.5 drags all around

i see...the problem with dropping an X is there is no aftermarket front shocks to use (except the one of a kind Koni) which causes the front to feel like you hit a big pot hole unless you run a smaller rim with a bigger sidewall
its been well documented in this thread where if you just swap springs the front shocks will go and ride harsh over bumps
if you want a mild drop that wont break the bank go with the Z/G combo but beware of the bumps
IMO save some money and buy coils thats what i'm doing ... did the combo to get rid of some of the height until i can properly sit her low

Running about a -2 on my fronts after the slam.. And as far as staying under 400 bucks, just the install and alignment will be close to that.. My H&R's were about 265 shipped.
ok i pmd you email.
hey guys so I found someone on the marketplace who is selling a set of 4 of the revised springs. Would I be able to use for 350z springs instead of two g and two z?
EDIT: i have 19x8.5 drags all around
Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I have a 2006 X Sedan. It looks like the monster truck and I want to lower it. I don't want to do camber and stance it out, but I want to lower it at least an inch. I went through a lot of these pages and a lot of them are cambered. I'm looking to buy them by February.

I typed in 350z revised springs in the search function for this thread and got this.
I honestly think they will give you more of a drop. But the revised spring are stiffer and could make the car bouncy without some stiffer struts. The best you can do is get revised rear shocks but nothing up front right now.
Sorry to ask this question i know its been covered many times but i havent been following the suspenion page for the X for a long time, last time i checked it was the BC coils, megan, d2 that were the only coilovers for our car, anything else new?

Okay so I found a pair of revised springs for the rear and im buying them from The Fixed. I found the front 350Z struts and springs. I think I'm going to just get both of these things and call it a day.
So at the end, I will have the revised G springs in the back, and the revised 350z struts and springs in the front.
Sound good?
