Did you get just the rears or did you get the wet kit for the front?

That is sweet, take pics of the new drop. It will help me make up my mind on what to do with my car. I put the 350z h-tech in the front along with the coupe rears it was even. But last night I deceided to put the rear h-techs in and see how it looks, it dropped more. I have about 1-1.5 finger gap. That is what I want. So its either put in the H&R springs or go out and get some s-techs for the front.

Seddon did you get the sedan springs?

Didn't get a chance to change them today maybe this weekend. Yeah I got the sedan springs which is 1.3/1.2 so for the X it will be more like 1.8/1.7. So it will drop lower than Z springs.

I bought new fronts from the dealer and sent Koni my originals and installed the new one on my car. You can only get the fronts front the dealer no company makes aftermarket replacements for the X yet.

wow, lucky. it took 4-5months to get custom konis. u guys should thnk me. i might have been the firs to do it, so they know wat to do now. cause when they where doing mines, they said what took long was coming up with a plan to do it. =) oh an also the koni wet kit, will not fix that little gap problem with us X'ers whre the front gap is a little higher then the rear. shock is still stock size, it jus has new valving.

apintojr your right you started Koni off with the customizing of our shocks. The guy at Koni (Gordon) told me the same thing, the first one took about 4-5 months but now they have the plan on how to do it. I ask them if they plan on mass producing it and he replied not enough interest. Once again thanks.

I figured that would be Koni's answer. While I get it that 350Z owners are far more likely to want to add aftermarket shocks with G coupe and sedan owner's to a lessor degree. But, the Z has oem shocks that tend to do ok with aftermarket springs. While the X doesn't have the kind of shock valving that will work as well with lowering. To me that means a captive market for a front shock made for X owners.

Shame is, with the right parts from the Koni parts bin and from some other suppliers. running Koni's does open the door for those that want a even higher performance setup with proven valving and easy access to Koni's lifetime warranty and shop services. Getting Koni to mass market front X shocks would open the door for that for more owners. This is a example of what I'm talking about.

Gsedan35 when I spoke to Gordon he said that they have done 6 in a year. But I also mention that not even KYB or Monroe makes OE replacements so eventually 04 X's will need to replace there fronts so he replied maybe in the future.
