Ok, it is a bit better than that. Pretty much a 2 in the front and 1.5 in the back, but not exactly the same.

So I threw on the H & R sedan springs, SPC rear camber kit and bolt kit today. I left on the stock shocks. I drove home from the shop ('bout 45 mins on the highway) on the stock rims and tires and the drop felt amazing. Not bouncy at all. Very tight, less boaty. Some had commented about the ride being bouncy in the rear with some of the drops they had, it is day one, but I do not feel it a bit. These springs are progressive, vs the TEIN that are linear springs, so may be some of the difference.

-Thanks again to qbturbo, Seddon and Flying Lumpia for your help with this.

I have not driven the car yet all finished. Sad but true. Will do that tomorrow and see how she feels. But as far as looks, she looks pretty damn dirty and nice to me at the same time. Will post some cleaner pics at some point, but aside from water, soap and wax, I am done with the outside of this car.

Maybe Turbonetics next spring when my warranty wears off and I have nothing to lose...

NICE are u gonna be coming down to the g35 meet we having by the bayside expo in boston on april 12th? would like to check out ur engine bay since im planning on modding my engine.

The car looks sweet Jman. Tint, rims, fogs and the perfect drop! FI next, woohoo, good luck with the rest of the mods!

nice drop JMAN44544...

ok, I originally dropped my 04 'X with Eibach Sportline springs (stock shocks up front, DSpecs in back - running on 18x8.5" kazara rims, Eagle F1s - 245/18). The performance was great (0 body roll) but the ride was too rough - not on me, but on the car itself. So I picked up a set of Tein H techs for the 350Z and put them on this weekend. See below for before and after.

The Teins aren't quite as low as the Eibachs (doesn't matter to me) but the ride with the Teins is MUCH better. It's like I have a suspension again. Perfect. If I had read about the H&Rs, I might have given them a try but I'm happy with the drop+ride+performance of the Tein H tech's for my X.

BEFORE - w/ Eibach Sportlines:

AFTER - w/ 350z TEIN H TECHs:

hope this helps someone!

Thanks again, I really appreciate it.

jclayc - It was literally a last second decision to go H&R instead of the Tein H Z springs. The ultimate reason was the progressive vs. linear spring. I am glad you like the Htech's and that the ride feels better. Your car/drop looks great. Love the brake kit.

like the drop with the eibachs betta..guess because i like my cars slammed but hey if u looking for drop and good handling u made a good choise on the H-techs even though when i had 350z tein s-techs i had alot of stiffness in the front and could hear my front shock rattle on bumps.

Coilovers

Does anyone know if they have finally made some coilovers for the x?
Ive heard sedan coilovers wont work. Anyone know specifically why?

I have sedan H-techs and im not too happy with them. My tires have gotten worked front and rear. The front rides well, but the back bottoms out bad.

What is the spring rate and drop for the z springs? Aftermarket z springs drop the x about an extra inch, right?

Thanks for whoever can help...

Coilovers

I was thinking of Asking GTM if they would consider making replicas of the VRT arm for the AWD Sedan , Ive had mine for 1 year now with no problems at all my "X" sits lower than any sedan Ive seen here and the ride is better than the springs ive tried before the coilovers , I know the coilovers where not a good known quality brand but Ive been satisfied . With this Arm and a good quality coilvers I think would be pricey but worth it.
Should I do it ?
