They work great to leave the windows cracked a little all day to vent out the car. It has been 90 deg by me but we could also get monsoon rains at any time so I don't leave the windows open at work. I had them on my jeep grand cherokee and I used them for that all the time. You also can't tell the windows are open at all from the outside without sticking your finger up there. You can crack the windows a little on the highway and the wind noise is much more tolerable. I still haven't brought myself to buy them for the G though, my windows aren't tinted.
