I've looked at numerous old posts on this subject, but I am still confused. My fogs appear yellow compared to my low beams, and the high beams are pretty innefective.

If I want the fogs to be the same color as my low beams, what do I need to buy?

Are the fogs/high beams one dual filament bulb?

Can you safely increase the wattage at the same time without melting anything?

That page lists the bulb types for all the lights on the car. The fogs and high beams are indeed the same bulb.

Going with a higher wattage is usually not recommended. You might have problems with blown fuses, and melted harnesses.

 

If you don't have the caps installed, adjust your low-beams up a tad. After I did mine, I noticed a great improvement. I didn't tell my wife about it, and after she drove it at night the first time after the change she asked me what I did to the headlamps to make them so much better.
