The post by DKnibb about the fate of the G had me wondering what you guys thought was missing from the car and what you guys wish it had.

Here goes my list:

Bi-Xenon Headlights (A La Maxima)
Heated Steering Wheel (A La Maxima)
Power Tilt/Telescoping Steering Wheel w/ Memory (A La Maxima)
Power Folding Outside Mirrors (A La Maxima & Passat)
Heated Rear Seats (A La Maxima)
Rear Window shade (A La Maxima)
Dual Exhaust (Almost Every other Freakin Nissan/Infiniti Car Has This)
18" Wheel Option
Touchscreen Navigation
Blinkers on Mirrors (A La Mercedes, M45 & Q45)
Text display on dash that can even tell you when a bulb is out
Larger brakes
Rain sensing wipers
Passenger Outside Mirror Tilt-Down In Reverse (Like Acura and BMW)
Heated Washer Fluid Nozzles (Audi, BMW, VW)

Ok that's my list for now. If I had to pick a few it would be the steering wheel stuff and the mirror tilt down feature. Hey, all in all I love the G, I just like to have gadgets and amenities. So what do guys think?

 

An engine with 300HP & 300ft/lbs Torque at the rear wheels.

 

Then, how much are you willing to pay for a G35 with all these features?

Hey 04NizmoV35, I'm witcha man. Nothing wrong with imagining. I love my G also. Here's what I'd like....

40/60 Folddown seats
Blinkers on Mirrors
and lighted steering wheel controls (even though I have memorized the control layout, which is probably better and safer.

Bi-xoens and those steering wheel options would have been nice if it came as standard in the preimium package. It would only make the car cost what a 900 more. The rear window shade from what I hear is only an option on the SL Maxima with the elite package and not on the sports model. The I35 also comes with that if you want you can get one installed in your car. The navi tells you if something are wrong with your car like mines told me I had no wiper fluid left.

 

I’m with DaveO. I love my car, but I’d also love it to have more power! On a more reasonable side, I would like the 60/40 split rear seats, 18” rims and dual exhaust. The other stuff, I don’t really care about.

I agree with 04nismo. Those are all things I would have liked to seen on my car. Most importantly, the dual exhaust and all the features the Maxima has. I was looking at the top-of-the-line maxima. The reason I didn't buy it was because it doesn't have the FM chasis, and therefore doesn't have the handling or the feel of this car.

How about a climate control system that wasn't smarter than me.

 

Memory side mirrors to go with the memory seats, and key fobs that are keyed to driver 1 and driver 2.

Teflon coatings don't do anything for the paint. It's a bunch of marketting to separate you from your money.

oh wow they really make teflon for cars?

i was just thinking about it b/c 1. i'm tired as crap from cleaning the car yesterday and 2. i'm cooking lunch w/ a teflon coated pan right now.

I agree with Ryoken, The memory side mirrors would be a nice addition. at least 280 HP like the coupe and 350Z. 18 inch wheels and brembo brakes on the sport versions. Honestly I can't think of anything more.

The heated parts would be nice but not necesary for me in California. I would veiw them as mor ethings to go bad.
