By the way. At first you were saying that no truck can be fast or handle well. Now all of a sudden you are saying that it still isn't as fast as the 6mt G. (Even though it's close) It's funny that the Lightning pulls almost the same g's as a G35, and will run with it or faster (It will run faster). The specs from those websites are just one test. There are other mags that have gone faster and have pulled .88 g's with the Lightning. Get your facts straight before you go spouting off opinions you pulled out of the depths of your ***.

Reading through this bliss of ignorance...and this is the one that sucked me in...flame bait or not.

The Lighting is faster than 99.9% of the world's vehicles...period. Do I own one, no. Do I want one, no. But does that mean I can't accept the facts...NO.

How can you make the statements you do when people are trying to tell you nicely...that the truck runs 12's stock and Ford Governs it to around 150 for a top speed but it would do an estimated 160 + if left alone at the ECU...I autocross and there is a guy who races a red lightning and he does very respectful lap times with that truck...he beats a lot of cars...and I know you may find this hard to believe, but he doesn't rollover and kill anyone while doing it and somehow, on his way to and from the autorcrosses...he doesn't kill anyone either with his so called "retarded" hauler as you would put it.

Opinions are very valuable, but when based soley on statements like you are making they make threads like this grow into something ridonkulous.
