New Gialla Bumper - Very Low!
OK, I finally got my Gialla bumper. I got it painted and put it on the car. I have Eibach Pro springs and now the clearance under the front bumper is 3.75 inches. (I have to back out of my driveway because I would scrape the bumper if I went straight out.) I am very undecided as to how to fix this. This bumper is very solid and I am really affraid of what would happen if I hit a speed bump with it (or anything else). Anyone have any ideas? I really like the agressive look, but I need to do something to fix the clearance.

You could put your stock springs back on. That would bring you back up at least an inch. This is if you're really concerned about cracking your bumper. I had a aftermarket bumper on my old car. It was about 2 inches off the ground. I guarantee you that you'll accidently hit something on the road (speed bumps, roadkill, etc.) Good luck..it looks aggressive.

It take awhile to get used to driving a car that is really low. It took me a decent amount of time on my last car. You have to angle over speed bumps and driveways and go really slow. You also have to keep a closer eye out on the road looking for pot holes and stuff. Eventually it will become normal to you.

My eclipse was slammed on weapon R coilovers and my Blitz kit front bumper was a little less than 3 inches off the ground. The back side on the bottom of it scraped on every speed bump, you just gotta go angled and slow over bumps and watch them potholes. I memorized every imperfection in the road on my work route when i had that car, now i move out of the way of the little things on the road just by habit in the G. the bumper looks pretty good but paint those sides asap.

Thanks for the pointers! My worst fear was that I would not be able to get into my work parking lot (high security with a pop-up vehicle stopper). I went and tested my clearance today - I will be able to get in! I even went out and checked the local speedbumps - all the ones I would usually have to cross. No problems. So, other than getting out of my own driveway, I haven't found any show stoppers.
I ordered the sides at the same time as the bumber but they have to come from Japan, so they will take another month or so. My plan is to replace the sides and the rear to make it all fit together properly.
