coupe middys and the oem z tube..

also does anyone know the labor cost to get the coupe middys installed??
.............
also it seems like all of the sedan owners get the oem z-tube and the drop in KNN filter...
I got the KNN drop in filter already and about to purchase the polished oem Z-tube...
is there anything else i should get for my air-intake project???

without knowing where you live, it's hard for anyone to provide labor estimates. why don't you just call some shops?

I only paid $40 for get the midpipe installed. The Z-Tube you can do yourself in about 15-20 minutes....not worth having anyone else do that. Here's a great DIY - no special tools required...

You could actually do the middie yourself because its only 4 bolts, but I'm not too keen on getting underneath the car when its jacked/jack stands...makes me a bit nervous.

i did the mid pipe myself and the hardest part was not removing the bolts but the 2 super tight rubber bushings that holds up our sedan mid pipe right now. In all honest, try a muffler shop they should be able to do it for $40 or even less. I have connections with my muffler shop and they were only going to charge $20 but I wanted it done the same day I got it so I did it 10PM at night...LOL

That's too much.. From what I know about the install, it's a straight swap and shouldn't cost you more than about $50.
The K&N and Z-tube will finish off your intake just nicely.

The midpipe is seriously a 15 minute install, tops. This is one of the easiest DIY's. The difficulty level is in between clears and z-tube.

I've installed three of them now. You undo 5 bolts, drop out your stock middy, and put in the new one. Tighten the 5 bolts and you're good to go.

Yeah, you don't need too much clearance.
