does anybody know if we can set our car doors to automatically lock when we put it in Drive? My Olds Silo (and the Alero i got rid of) has like 5 diff settings you can program your remote/locks and such with.

This may be stupid, but after 4 years, I just forget to lock my doors.

I think I have it. I was sitting in my car tonight talking on the phone and the doors locked themselves after about 5 minutes. I need to double check that.

The doors will lock if you do the following

1. Unlock the doors with the remote and do not open a door.

2. Get in car then hit remote to open door lock and do not open any door.

It is a safety feature to prevent you from accidentally unlocking your car with the remote

This car does not have the lock feature when putting it in drive or going above 15 mph
