but the sound is awesome (a little too conservative for me).

yes, i know the grass in the picture is messed up.
+1!! I loved the Blitz + coupe middy. Sold it and I miss it a lot.... it had a great tone (similar to the Top Speed N1, if you ask me, but not as raspy) and it didn't drone too much at cruise.

I have a Fujitsubo now and I think it's WAY WAY WAY too quiet.

Any thoughts would be great to hear.

Also, since I have the Nismo bumper...my exhaust has all but disappeared! What happened to my darn tips???
Rocket,

I love the sound of the HKS rear section. I do not think you have too much to worry about. I actually wish it was a little louder if anything. I don't have any drone at all and it passed the wife test with flying colors. She likes the HKS much better than she liked my old Stillen. I can honestly say there is nothing whatsoever about this muffler that can be considered annoying.

If you are concerned, I would go with the HKS only first, see how it sounds and then go for the coupe middy after that if you are still wanting more.

Hope this helps,
Jamey.

Thanks for the feedback Jamey - I also read the comments in the Exhaust section as well.

I already have the middy on my car...so it would be "louder" right away. I through out my stock middy...so I can't go back!

I really think you will like it, however, I'm not the one spending the bucks so it real easy for me to talk.

Anyone with a Nismo rear diffuser + HKS rear section for an 03-04? I just want the muffler to at least be flush with the diffuser vs. being tucked all the way in like my stock muffler. It just seems that my muffler disappeared!

Please post pics if you have them.

Did you feel any loss or gain from adding the Fuji? What is your opinion of the Fuji's loudness and raspiness compared to stock? Thanks.

I would say no loss, probably not much of a gain either, if any. I think Fuji's website shows 5 rwhp gain so don't expect to feel anything from the seat of the pants. That said, I felt some gain compared to the Blitz axle-back, which DID cause some slight loss in the low end.

The Blitz + coupe mid was medium loud, not obnoxious but it had a great tone, just enough to let others know you meant business. It had a slightly raspy "bark" that sounded beautiful. It makes you want to drive hard just to hear it, especially through tunnels and overhead passes. I have sound clips of the Blitz if you want to hear it.

Conversely, the Fuji is very understated and toned down. In-car with the windows up, I would say from idle all the way to 3000 rpm it's just as quiet as stock. No raspiness at all. If anything, it's too quiet!

I'm open to ideas on how to open up the Fujitsubo to be a little louder.
