What did you replace your mid pipe with? Magnaflows? I had something similar but ended going to a coupe middy and HKS rear. My custom set up was way to loud and it droned a lot.
If I'm interpreting correctly, he's on the stock exhaust with a bypass valve. Push a button and it opens up so you basically have a straight pipe after the cats/mid-resonator.
Someone else on the forums posted up about this a while back, but IIRC it was pretty expensive.
