Blown Fuse?!?!?!?
last night i went to take my dvd navigation disk out to make a backup and this morning i woke up my battery was drained down to the max. I have no clue what was pulling power the whole night but one thing i noticed this morning is that my sidemarkers were on regardless of me activating/deactivating the alarm. They will flicker when I was activating deactivating. Basically my whole wiring system was tripping out. Had the car jumped, drove around a while and everything returned to normal EXCEPT!!! Now my interior dome lights will not work and my rear reading lights for each side will not work either. The ring around the ignition will not turn on now when i deactivate the alarm as well as the stepping out (the light that lights the path of you stepping out when you open the door) is also dead. I have no clue what's going on with my car, everything else seems to be working perfectly. I am hoping this is a blown fuse for the interior lights can anyone direct me to the fuse box and which fuse to pull to check for that? Also I am going to the dealership next thursday for another issue should I just mention this to them? And will they deny to help me because I have ground wires installed? I am thinking if they blame the ground wires I will just say they are the nismo and nissan wouldnt sell something that would do harm to the vehicle. Anyways I hate it when my baby G is not working perfectly and it's bothering me a lot. Any advise/comments???
One fuse box is in the car on the left side of the footwell wall near the parking brake. There is another in the battery compartment. I believe the lid has a label as to which fuse is which. Sometimes you can't tell if it is blown until you remove it. If one is blown and it blows when you replace it you'll need to find the short and that cold have drained the battery before it blew the fuse. Good luck.
