There are sites like nada.com, kbb.com, and edmunds.com that allow you to estimate trade in value. You could enter your particulars there, such as mileage and options, and get a rough idea.

trade in wont be what you would think. depending on options mileage it could vary slightly but i have a fully loaded (minus nav) 03 sedan and trade in on it was atound $17800. If you could you should sell it privately and make a few extra grand easy.

The only real way to tell, is see what your dealer will do, it depends on how much they want your car sometimes, you could also check with CarMax if you have them around, they will buy a car, I know a few people who went that route and did okay.

carmax is ok imo if you really need to get rid of a car quick. they lowball you big time. they only wanted to give me $16500 for my 03 sedan with 31000 miles fully loaded. you can do better at dealers or like ironpirate said...g35s sell real good on autotrader.

Oh, that does suck, you could do better at the dealer, I did okay when I traded my '04 for my '05.

I wouldn't change the color, IMO, that leaves a lot of questions when you do decide to sell the car, like, was it wrecked, etc. Besides, a decent paint job is going to cost $$$$. BTW, your car color is Desert Platinum, and calling it silver is an honest mistake.

Here I like the Desert Platinum better than the straight silver. A little more body to the color.

I traded an 04 Auto coupe w/30K mikes + $2K for an 05 X w/14K miles. I guess the coupes are worth a little more.
