I just got back from Santa Monica Infiniti and talked to the manager. He agreed that the tires were defective and shouldnt have worn that quickly. He also said hes never seen tires go so bald so fast and thought something was wrong with the car. Needless to say everything checked out and they replaced the tires free of charge!!! They replaced all four tires even though the back ones were the only ones that really needed replacing. The service there was 1000x better. I will never go back to Parkway Infniti again.

While I understand the dealer 'attitude' problem, I have to side with the dealer. It is a rwd car and how do they know you are not doing burnouts or just driving hard? Even so, bald tires at 15k w/o rotation isn't exactly unbelievable. Being out of alignment is nothing unusual as well. To expect the dealer to fork over new tires for free over this seems to be a stretch. It's worth a shot but I wouldn't be upset if the dealer turned you down.

One reason my OE tires wore so quickly is because I was out of camber specs in the rear. I didn't correct that until halfway through the life of my current tires. Another thing that will greatly affect tire wear is underinflation. Kumho's, especially. If this guy is out of alignment, and hasn't rotated his tires *once* in 15k miles, I highly doubt he's the most dilligent regarding tire pressure.
My point is that 15k miles is not unreasonable in the least.
