I just got back from Santa Monica Infiniti and talked to the manager. He agreed that the tires were defective and shouldnt have worn that quickly. He also said hes never seen tires go so bald so fast and thought something was wrong with the car. Needless to say everything checked out and they replaced the tires free of charge!!! They replaced all four tires even though the back ones were the only ones that really needed replacing. The service there was 1000x better. I will never go back to Parkway Infniti again.
you're lucky you found an idiot!!

I can't believe you got free tires.

Also, instead of waiting for these to go bald, make your the wheels are aligned correctly.

Babbling nonsense??? You're the one babbling nonsense. Learn how to properly maintain a car and you won't have a problem in the future. Just because you found a dealership that replaced your tires doesn't mean you're right.

PS - Chico has been around for a very long time and he's one of the most respected members on this forum. He has never babbled nonsense.

No kidding. You got lucky man...Pilot's are pretty expensive/pricey (not sure on durability/performance though).

While I understand the dealer 'attitude' problem, I have to side with the dealer. It is a rwd car and how do they know you are not doing burnouts or just driving hard? Even so, bald tires at 15k w/o rotation isn't exactly unbelievable. Being out of alignment is nothing unusual as well. To expect the dealer to fork over new tires for free over this seems to be a stretch. It's worth a shot but I wouldn't be upset if the dealer turned you down.

Just because we have a sort of powerful car you shouldn't go through tires in 15K miles UNLESS your doing burnouts. I have 15K mikes on my car and tires are about 60%. I rotate every 5K miles. Again, unless your thing is big smokey burnouts something was wrong.

I don't do burnouts. But I do drag race. And I drive the **** out of the car daily.

One reason my OE tires wore so quickly is because I was out of camber specs in the rear. I didn't correct that until halfway through the life of my current tires. Another thing that will greatly affect tire wear is underinflation. Kumho's, especially. If this guy is out of alignment, and hasn't rotated his tires *once* in 15k miles, I highly doubt he's the most dilligent regarding tire pressure.

My point is that 15k miles is not unreasonable in the least.
