I'm at 27k miles now, in 14 months of ownership. I will be ordering my THIRD set of tires next week.

 

Good Lord Man! I thought I was hard on tires. I got 25K out of my first set.

 

well, I believe 15k miles for a 260/280/298hp RWD car is reasonable..unless if you are using it as a mama commuting car. Otherwise, just live with it since it is a wear and tear item after all.

 

From everything I've read in the various threads about tires, I must have the record for highest mileage on my original set of Turanzas. My 04 is now at 37,500 miles and I am just now reaching the point where I have to think about my next set of tires. Granted, 45 of my 50 miles a day is fast, highway commuting but I drive the other 5 pretty hard, ramps and all. And everyone hating the Turanzas makes me reluctant to buy them again but not sure I'd do much better with the Pilots, Avons or Eagle
