My Is 350 Delima

SO this guy that I work with just got a new IS 350 and I will admit its a very nice car. Unfortunatly this guy is an ******* and you could tell b4 ever meeting him just by seeing him drive. Well I was in the elivator with him and Simply asked him "how do you like your Lexus" He looks right at me and said "man it incredable". "it has sooo much power. if you look at the engine there is no space." This didnt bother me but then he said "its a 3.7 liter". i was like what... is this guy confused???? He then also said " It could take any car in the parking lot"//// Now he showed a complete lack of respect for my G. After work im going to call him out and see if he wants to run. As far as i know im gonna light him up. I have a 2003 g sedan. Full stillen intake/ztube/exhaust/headers/down pipe/. and then full front and rear stillen swaysbars. upgraded stainless steel brake lines, powerslott rotors, ceramic pads. Droped 1.1 all the way around with the eibach prokit. and I have Tokico pro-adjust shocks. sittin on 20 in scarfaces. What do you guys think?

The new IS's run around a 13.7 quarter mile. It is no slug. Don't get too cocky.

Post the results of the race. I've personally never driven or been in a IS350.

I have an '04 6MT, z-tube, K&N, '05 sedan midpipe.

I ran one...didn't end how I thought it would though. He was right behind me at the light. When the light turned, I took off, nailing every shift thinking I'd pull away from him. By the end of 3rd gear, his blinker was on and was overtaking me. Maybe he was using NASCAR drafting techniques...his car was pretty damn quick. I don't have all of the breathing mods you do so maybe you'd do better. Your 20s will hurt you a bit though. Just my $0.02

I don't know why you listed all of your mods becuase only the above will help you- your 20" chromies will only hinder your performance.

Regardless, you'll loose.

I have a close friend who has an 06 IS350 w/ intake. I ran with him off the line while he had another passenger in his car. He took me every gear up to 4th, then we stopped. We tried twice and there was no way I can keep up. He recently got some 19 VR rims and we tried again on the freeway last night. I started in second gear and pushed ahead in second but by third gear he was gaining on me and when I reached 4th, he was already a whole car ahead of me.

You're gonna lose. All he has to do is stomp on the gas and he'll take off while you have to shift perfectly...and he still puts down more power than you. Your 20s really slow you down too. Now challenge him to a track event (or autocross) and you'll lap him

You're going to get smoked. Not just lose. But embarrassed. Now, if you put heavy *** 30" chromies on the lexus, you'd lose by less.

I've got a question for you. Why do you have any performance mods *and* wheels like that? That's like buying a porche and welding the rear axle. Counterintuitive.

I wouldn't do it because most likley you'll lose and you will never hear the end of it. Just feel comforted knowing that you paid thousands less and with the money you saved you could go forced induction and chew him a new A$$
