HID D4R Bulbs

The new thing to hit the streets is Phillips d4r bulbs. They are mercury free bulbs. anyone have any input

I thought these kits were out for a long time now. They run like $400-500 easy for the kit. It would definitely look nice on the car, but I drive a lot at night through areas where there is a lot of deer and small animals so I would prefer the output from the OEM fogs. I considered the HIDs greatly though.

Yeah what are these. Would they allow us to have bi-xenon upper bulbs? If so I would think they need a second pair of ballasts like the dual-xenon H4's on ebay.

Never mind. I just found them, so they are just a newer bulb.

These are interesting... just don't seem worth the money for now

the whole thing is i've seen places saying that they will work with d2 ballasts and some that wont.

also some forums that have members saying they threw them in and it worked while others saying, although not tested, that they wouldnt work...

im gonna test out the waters
