Appreciate my G35 even more now!

I had a service appointment scheduled which was going to require a loaner. They had another G35 lined up for me.Unfortunately I had to cancel and re-schedule. The loaner G35 was now gone(promised to someone else that day, which I understand).I had to take what was available.A Nissan Sentra 1.8 Litre(Don't know the US conversion, but it's tiny) Special Edition.Special...lol.
I left the dealiship and went to step on it to merge on to the highway. And some handicapped person on a scooter blew by me giving me the finger. How humiliating. Glad to have my G back.

LOL

I know how you feel. I miss mine even when I get a normal G for a loaner.

I know what you mean! Im always out of town and have to do the Hertz thing. Im notorious for taking the first one they give me BACK! They usually end up giving me the undercover Ford Taurus Just to merge over in that thing you gotta put the pedal to the floor! I go thru over 1/2 a tank per day just to get to slloooowww loooaaaner G status

I'll be going that route in 3 weeks on vacation. May be getting the Taurus as a rental.

Last time I rented one, it took me over a day to get used to it again. And this from someone who owned one until he bought the G35.

Well, now you can rent a Shelby from Hertz, or will soon be able to!

After driving a loaner that has been rode hard and put away wet, I enjoy my G like it's a new car!

Sentra is luxery compared to the Geo Metro I got one time... I swear the car felt like it was going to come apart when I got it up to 60 mph... Then when a big semi truck would pass me I would have to pull over at the nearest Kmart and buy some new underwear...

I travel a bit for work, and I usually end up with a Pontiac G6 GT, I am not sure what the GT adds either. I love the enjoyable ride home from the airport, when I finally get home.

lol - That sort of thing just isn't worth the money saved in gas.

I recently had a loaner myself but it was a G35. It was an auto and I thought it would be fun to see what that was like. I quickly realized that I made no mistake getting the 6mt. I couldn't wait to get it back.
