Smile Dvd Player/instalation!!

Hi....I'm trying to buy and install a DVD player in my dash where the Stock Nav is supposed to go. I wanna keep my 6 disc changer though. Is this possible and if so can you guys give me some advice/input on dash kit products as well as the best DVD players that fit and look best in this spot. (I haven't found a dash kit)...THANKS ALOT!

Do you want a full stereo system/nav that also plays DVD's? That is what I have. I also have a second DVD player in the stock nav cubby above the glove box. If you want a separate one you can do that and just use an FM modulator. As a third option if you are thinking about headrest TV's they now make headrest monitors with DVD players built in.

Let me know which way you are thinking and I can help.

I've got a single-din DVD player/TV tuner in the upper glove compartment. I ordered the bracket from DigitalWheelz and the fit and finish is perfect. The DVD player runs through my Pioneer Avic D2.

I'm just looking for pretty much what vodka has....just a DVD player (not even a NAV) to put in the glove above the cd changer.

I think what you have is what I want vodka...can you maybe give me a part number or a link to find that single din kit? Thanks

To make the DVD player work with the stock system (and stock radio) you would need to either get a module that interfaces it to your satellite input or an FM modulator that uses a FM station.

If you get an aftermarket stereo with a screen just make sure it has an audio/video input.

They even make 1/2 DIN DVD players now that would fit in your nav computer cubby without any brackets.
