Wasn't there supposed to be a new Stillen exhaust coming out for sedan??? are they still researching or something??
anyone know the progress??

 

After testing four prototypes, Stillen's dual catback exhaust system should be available within the next thirty days. (I know, another 30 day delay!). According to Adam, getting this system to market is one of Stillen's top priorities.

 

I think they meant 30 months. I can't wait for it to come out.

 

got any idea of pricing? like 2000 stillen dollars or something outrageous like that?

Man this is getting kinda ridiculous. People badmouth Stillen for rushing product to market with little or no R&D, but this seems to suggest otherwise. I wonder how much of the total time from napkin to retail outlet is R&D vs. production and distribution issues. The longer we wait, the bigger the letdown. I am getting tired of what appears to be standard lip service.

 

Went down and saw a proto-type installed. they are tuning / checking / tuning, testing, tuning. The "don't hold me to it, guesstimate" price is around $1100-1500.

Here is also some food for thought, although it is for the coupe, the sedan dual exhaust will be based on some of the same engineering. Just seeing all the clamps on the Borla made me cringe!

Isnt that a little ridiculous?? the greddy is only like 700 bux..

Still nothing about the Sedan, companies/individuals keep promising "30 days or less"

I doubt anyone is making a dual exhaust for sedan, just like to joke around and talk about it. Real good business techniques.

 

I've seen the Stillen G35 sedan dual exhaust up close and in person, installed in a G35. It exists - but they are just not market ready yet .... 30 days and counting LOL!!!

Unfortunately Adam did not have the key and it was Stillen's lunch hour (so not many folks were around). I am probably heading over to pickup a SS pulley set and will probably ask them to turn the car over for me. I'll let you know what I think!
