Can you splane' to me how you got the "loop" in the curve in the first two?

You would have to track backwards to do that.

I'm a bit confused here. The prior dyno only went to 6300rpms whereas the new ones go to 6900rpms. The gains appear to occur above 6300rpms, but unfortunately we don't have that data for the pre-fan mod. If you look closely at the new dynos and compare them to the old dyno, you'll see that all the dynos show HP dip downwards at around 6100rpms, but then at around 6400rpms or so, the power starts to go up again. From what I can tell, comparing the before and after dyno up to 6300rpms shows no real difference.

Thanks for doing to comparison, but the lack of data on the first dyno doesn't make it easy to make a definitive answer.

Also, how were they able to get 6900rpms? Do you have a TS ECU?

I had no doubt - I could feel it - but here's the charts...

Those observant amongst you will notice some differences - don't just take max HP as forgone conclusion. The first chart was the best of 4 runs. The last chart showing with the e-fan had 3 runs. the difference between the first and last 2 was letting the car cool down. It was 98deg during the dyno, so heat was a killer.
Thank you for proving many peoples points that the conversion does help.

How so? His pre-fan dyno went to 6300rpms. His post-fan dyno clearly went above 6300rpms. On all dynos, pre and post, the numbers are the same below 6300rpms. The power difference on the post-fan dynos occured above 6300rpms, but the pre-fan dynos don't go that high.

So how does this prove the conversion works

There goes Dave again shooting everyone down like he did on the org.

But he is right, these dyno's don't tell us anything for the exact reasons he stated.

At what point in this discussion did he become some sort of horrible person that is viciously "shooting" anyone down? Pretty sad when someone obliviously has a chip on their shoulder or is steeped in jealously and lets that get in the way of good forum etiquette. And let's play devil's advocate, if I'm wrong his posts in this thread and you’re stooping to the same level, what does that make you and anyone with the same intentions?

My point is, I don’t come to this board to see anyone attacked without cause.

Hahaha....I know Dave from back in our Maxima days. I like him and he generally knows his stuff. I guess you could call it an inside joke since he always got crap back on maxima.org. I have no issue with him or what he posted, I agree with him.
