I purchased an extra key fob from ebay and was able to program it to my car with no problems.

Cool, I was thinking about doing the same thing. My battery is almost gone, on both fobs.

Wouldn't it be better to just replace the batteries

Back to the original topic though, programming the new key fobs is very easy. My buddy works at a Nissan dealership, and got me two new key fobs for my G, as my car only came with one . Took about 2 minutes to program the new ones.

Ummm, how many remotes have you gone through? The back of the fob says what kind of battery to use and it's even in the manual.

Don't you hate it when you make fun of someone and it turns out you are the real "genius"?

At least you had the n00bs around to save you money before you bought a new key fob instead of just a battery....so n00bs are good for something
