i only raced one guy so far since i got my car. it was on the 5 freeway going towards SD. a guy in a 99 audi a4 was racing me, weaving in and out of lanes, but i just stayed to the very left and blocked him in so that he couldn't pass me or cut anyone off...he was pissed!! lol! but after we both found some openings in the lanes,,,i smoked him.

he was a dumbass to begin with with all the tailgating and weaving.

I know, thats why i was surprised, there was some traffic, enough to weave in and out goin 100+

Nice. Ya, it's good to see people our age who actually aren't silver-platter, get-any-car-from-the-parents people!

i'm still working for her, so she, and the whole family figured since i was basically the only one working my *** off to help her and go to school since the 9th grade, i deserved a new car.

since i work for her, u could say that i bought it w/ my money if she were to actually pay me, but u could also say that she bought it since she's actually paying for it right now. iono, its in the middle, hah!

but im also paying for my motorcycle too, so theres something she cant take away if i **** her off...hhahaha
Gotchya, I can see how that works. No silver platter kid here either! I wonder how many on this forum in teens/early 20's aren't silver platter?

Probably not many, its not very easy to purchase a $35-40,000 car on your own when you're 20.

Ya. I got a friend who's 25 and his next car? NEW M5. He's on track to make nearly $100K this year. But you're right.

Well, his worst year over the past 5 years has been something like $61K in a single year.

I have a problem getting people to race me too. A guy in a new Z06 was happy to take me on. I just wanted to see how bad I would loose.... it was bad.

I had an encounter with a modded C5 Vette 2 weeks back. He absolutely raped me from 0-90. We slowed down, and the driver, a late 30's Asian guy starts laughing while telling me he beat me sideways. We then encountered a 4 lane stretch of road (2 lanes in each direction) that was 2.5 miles of 35-45MPH (posted speed limit) sweepers. For the SF Bay Area people, this was South SF/Pacifica from Westborough/Skyline down to Highway 1. I was hitting these sweepers from 60-85 MPH, and the car simply stuck like glue.

I figured, great, I'm either going to slam into a wall trying to keep up, or get my azz handed to me. He obviously got the lead as we accelerated down towards the curves, but after we went through the first 3 sweepers I was reeling him in. He was able to brake way later than me which helped him, but I was able to enter and exit the corners with greater speed. I was in shock, I thought my T1R's mounted to the 20's didn't have a chance... Eventually I could see this guy in my rearview mirror and every single curve I pulled farther and farther away. We ended this friendly competition with my about 8 car lengths ahead and my brakes completely faded. We once again slowed down, and I rolled down my windows waiting to see what he'd say. "What the hell do you have in there" he asked. I told him "just my dubs" . He gave me a "yeah right" and a thumbs up and drove off.

That was fun. I was seriously railing those corners, and hitting the apex's just perfectly. I think my suspension is dialed in exactly to my liking, I just need to hurry up and get a BBK and bring this thing to a track. I'm going to go hunting for e46 M3's.

and i am loving every single minute of it. when asked why i didn't invest
instead of buying a $51000 dollar car all in i take it on the highway and open it up and go loooking for people to race. love my g35 and sorry to get off topic but i have blown so many cars away that think this is a old mans car
