Lesson to learn is - don't buy a car and expect to not lose money if you sell it within 4 years. And even if you paid for the car and don't have a loan when you do sell it and you get to keep all the cash, that does not mean you made money. Dammit I should have bought the coupe!

I would not have bought the car if I thought I was going to sell it within a year, but things happened and I need to move out of the neighborhood and want to buy a bigger house. I am not going to squabble over a $1k, but at the same time I am not going to sell it just to sell it and lose 5 or 6 K either.

Weaver, I'm feeling ya, no matter how much we make, there are always better things to spend money on than cars and about 30 times I've realized that as I make my payment. But I was single when I bought and didn't have a daughter or even a house payment. Now I, fortunately, still have the car and when it's paid for, it will have so low miles that I can glean the value of it's reliability and fun factor.

yeah the rental deal hurts the resale no doubt. But on the topic of beating rentals......... Yeah I would like to drive them hard. But in reality, I can't really afford the potential ticket after driving like a dumbarse. So while I do drive a bit harder than my car, in the end, I don't really abuse it.

but what i dont understand is Why someone who spews this hate allowed to be a part of the site? Free speech was never intended to allow racist or inciteful blatherings it is for the free expression of ideas to have meaningful dialogue on pertinant issues of faith, freedom, and progression. It has never been intended to allow stupidity to run rampant. in fact there are specific laws that limit this very thing.

As well as this is a private site. It has no specific requirement to allow anyone to join or post.
