First attempt at a "photoshoot" (just one pic)

Here goes my attempt at a photoshoot of my 06 Lakeshore Slate Sedan. This was taken on the vista point on Hwy. 9 (between Saratoga and Santa Cruz); since the car is still on the break in I didn't want to go further to find a better spot. What are your people's thoughts? Sorry for the small quantity, hoping to take more (and better!) pictures soon.

if its a photoshoot why do you need to photoshop the pictures... a well maintained car doesnt need a boost

I did do, some minor photoshop work: 'lighting effect'. Also converted the picture from raw. My first mod to the car will be the hard-wire V1 (I have a V1 + hardwire kit, when I get a chance I am going to do as described here. The
next mod will be learning to drive (I'm coming from an FWD 4-banger!). Later on, I could possibly add a rear sway bar, as well as Z-pipe/intake and exhaust. I'm quite happy with the 18x7.5 wheels, although I may
eventually move to a staggered setup (keeping the stock wheels for the track/autocross [with appropriate tires] or for long term trips on uncertain-quality roads [with stock, or even all-season tires]).

You dont have to use photoshop to edit the quality of your car. You can use it to edit the quality of the picture. You can also edit things you normally would have no control over, like the stains in the pavement. Keep in mind, Adobe PhotoShop is a professional grade editing program. Please... expand your mind...

strlen, thats a good start. Although, I personally dont like the angeld shots. I think the shot would have looked better without flash. Are you headlights on? or is that the reflection of the flash?

The headlights are on *and* it is a reflection of the flash. I had only a cheap Fry's tripod, so I wouldn't be able to angle it well enough to do the shot (and there's no way I could hold the camera steady enough to take the shot without flash).

Yeah, the picture could be better. Going to give it another try, possibly tomorrow if time permits.

I bought my sedan at Niello as well. I'm with Clean, not a big fan of the angled shots.

Don't take pics at such a late time, and don't use flash. Also make sure your camera is stable and focused, or it'll look blurry. Also, always take LOTS of shots, so you have many to pick from.
