ClearCoat adds gloss.

So yo painted it flat black and you added a clear coat for the gloss, you think i would need to redue everything ive done or juss spray another flat black with a clear coat?

i painted mine with duplicolor black, its more like semi gloss, but with clearcoat on it looks glossy

I went to the automotive store but the paint promotor they sold me sucks *** becuase the paint doesnt stick for ****

did you atleast remove most of the chrome?? man i used regular duplicolor with clearcoat and its fine, no peeling so far and i doubt it will peel, i removed the chrome bc i think paint on top of chrome will not stick for long

I used aircraft paint remover and then sanded the grill with 400 and sprayed 2 coats.

weird yours is peeling, how bad is it peeling?? did you use primer??

how would you go about removing my flat black paint on my rims and grill? Do you know? And how should i paint it so it could look glossy and stay not chip

Did you sand the grill really well first?

to paint a grill so it will not chip you got to sand it down to remove the chrome, so theres no way to remove the black once its painted

i want to and will soon but still working on rims I bought some 20 MRR wheels and they didnt fit the rear so I am trying to find soming i like I am think about going bronze
