Painted grill

I went to Sherwin-Williams today and bought a Adhesive Promotor and a can of KH3 Black paint and went to town! I took the grill of and striped it will Air Craft paint remover and then cleaned it with some soap and water. Let her dry the spray towo coats of the Ad. Pro. let dry for 5-10 mins the sprayed two coats of black letting dry over night then will sand with 800 and spray a few more coats. I will post pics asap!

did you go to sherwin automotive or is the regular one ok?

what color is ur sedan? i have a modded emblemless grill painted DG to match....

do u have a photo? i have a DG also, and have a black grille. i was wondering how it would look DG.

these are photos when i first got it...i had it repainted so the color match is much better....

what is the cost to have it done?

i was lucky enough to have a body shop, i give a lot of work to, do mine black for no cost.

Looks good! BTW - kinda funny that you drive a car that has nips! (front bumper near license plate)...is that to hold the plate flush/flat, since the bumper has curvature?

i bought the grill with no exchange for $300 by caskyline...it came modded and painted but i also had it painted again for free to color match better those nips you are seeing are the most expensice plugs ever i bought from bumperplugs.com that came painted to plug those UGLY holes for the license plate!

Here's my painted grill. I've always felt the chrome 03/04 grill was quite cheesey.

yeah me too, that why i painted mine also, i love how its still looks OEM, DaveB you should paint your headlight housing
