Not sure, I know the Mazda6 crowd got it a few months ago because the people were pushing for it from a company that made the stubby antana's... so they got their wishes. Maybe we need to go to that company and tell them we want them too? lol

Heyy, the part number for the Shark fin cover is INF 28228-EH004 its about 10 dollars and comes in any paint color in the 05-06 colors. You need the inside SAT attena and that part number is INF 28208-EH100 and thats about 40 dollars. If your not using it as an anttena and just for looks you will have to use a dremmel and take off the metal peice that exstends downward into the roof. Then it will be flat and just use some Epoxy and your good to go. If your going to use the attena for your SAT radio then you will need to drill a hole into the roof for the install. Ohh and if you do drill, you will need the nut to secure the antenna and that part number is INF 28219-ED000, hope this helps

yeah i would love to replace the factory one. i saw someone refer to it as a dead mouse and that seems pretty accurate.

Yeahh it will work for any factory SAT set up I would imagine, it would take some fabrication of the wiring for a non factory set up to use the shark fin but you would have to take a look at the plug for the antenna to see what you could do with it... Pics... just look arround, the M35/45 has the same shark fin as the G, its the same part number too...

is the antenna actually built into the fin? or is it just a cover over it?

Hey, yes were talking about the SAT radio, if you have another kind of antenna I am sure you can use the factory Shark fin Infiniti antenna. The shark fin comes painted and is a cover which snaps onto the antenna itself.
