i had an injen, but switched to a JWT/z-tube.

reason was, I could change the filter on the JWT a lot faster =D.

if you do get either, make sure you give it sufficient clearance to the AC line or you will be hitting yourself with a hammer when you have to replace the whole system.

I was using K&N drop-in filter, makes a little bit different for airflow. That's why I decided to go with Z-Tube and JWT Pop-Charger. After you hear the sound of this combo air intake system, you will in love of it and will not go back to drop-in filter again in your life. Unless you don't want to spend too much money on intake system. But Z-Tube and PC is not cost as much as INJEN or AEM CAI system. And you get more aggresive airflow sound when you reve up to 4000rpm. Trust me, go get yourself a Z-Tube and PC, and you will know how I feel with this sytem

It's generally accepted that intakes don't do squat for these cars. If all you want is noise, why pay $250 for it? By yourself the Z-tube and remove the over radiator air snorkel and the Power Duct cover. You'll get EXACTLY the same induction noise.

i had the pop charger w/heat shield plus the z tube..i live in south texas and it gets damn hot over here so the intake wasnt really efficient...trust me the heat shield doesnt do squat...anyway i put my stock air box back in with kn filter plus the ztube and sound is pretty good...then i took off the "power duct" and wow it sounds awesome!...try that combo first before you spend the money on the intake..our intake is good stock so i wouldnt change it out..i actually noticed the car had more low end grunt as opposed to the pop charger combo...

Stillen has proven to wrok on this car. Please don't believe someone who has never tested products before on his own car.

Need I post the third party before and after dyno of the Stillen intake on a G35 coupe for the 46th time .....or are you going to post a dyno proving your point?

LOL here we go again. Threating to post your unreliable other persons dyno that was not in a controlled enviroment and uncontrolled situations. We have been through this before many times and people are tired of hearing it. Others have posted gains and dynos with controlled conditions. Even Tony has this info if anyone wants it. DaveB. You have yet yourself to test a intake on your car period. EOS. Until then you need to keep your misinformed comments to yourself.

2. INJEN RD1992 COLD AIR INTAKE

Any comments between these two systems? Any advantage/disadvantage between these two?

Let's the masses decide. You're the only one in that thread said there was a problem with dyno because the run started at 3800rpms. Why would that make a difference anyways seeing that when you're racing, you should have the rpms well above 4000rpms. You also asked if he reset the ECU and he said yes and he stated he drove the car for 4 days prior to second dyno. It's funny the G35 crew swears up and down that intakes work on these cars, but the 350Z crew largely agrees that intakes are a waste of money and are just noise makers.

Stillen intake dyno, before and after, no gain
