Ha - This happend to me the other day. I took out two of my sales guys for lunch and they asked when I upgraded the exhaust. I told them I'd only added the intake and Z-tube (I did not want to get into explaining the plenum spacer). One guy ended up crawling under the car because he did not beleive me.

Russ, it gets very annoying and tiresome with you constantly attacking my credibility. I'm 99.9999999% certain pigs don't fly. While I've never personally witnessed a pig in flight doesn't mean the fact is they don't fly. I can do some research and find those facts for myself. Same goes with these intakes and a bunch of other mods for these cars. Just because I don't own the particular mod in question doesn't mean I can't do some research and make an informed decision and maybe help those that aren't as mechanically inclined understand the results and principles.

If you want to prove me wrong then post up some data and keep the debate on a friendly level and none of this stuff. I'm a big boy and can admit when I'm wrong. There's no need to be attacking people. Wouldn't you agree?

Most of the time I enjoy both of your postings and input.
If you 2 have a score to settle....well then, take it outside..
Then for all of our enjoyment you could post it here or on YouTube........under "Cat Fight".

In the past, I have taken it to PM with Russ. Nothing changes. It's a constant attack on my credibility and I won't let him do it on a public forum. I don't know why he can't have a debate without getting his panties in a bunch.

It's a sad thing that DaveB is blinded by all the dynos on this forum that show results. Tony has some, DaveO and many others have spent many hours and money to test mods to see which ones actually perform. And if you want to get real hard core data, contact those people. DaveB will just give a link to one dyno of one guy not gaining any when there was issues with that dyno as well.

Can anyone be more transparent in their effort to descredit someone? I mean really.

How about YOU post them since you know who has them and where to get them? Since you are the one claiming these intakes to make a significant difference. When one makes a claim, it's on THAT person to provide some data. You don't make a claim then tell EVERYONE else to find the proof.

Really. All we are asking for is dyno information. Really, that's it. Nothing more. If it proves what you claim, then great.

Why are u getting so defensive, all he was asking was proof. U are retarded for insulting someone over something that u can not prove. Be a man and admit u were wrong and move on.

Because I DID NOT MAKE THE CLAIM. If I DID make the claim that xx mod makes or does not make xx hp, it would be on ME to back that particular claim. Which I do. But YOU made the claim. Dave made a claim and provided dynos. Why can't YOU?

There is not way in the world that u can prove that 3-5 hp gain came from a intake. STOCK ECU WILL GIVE YOU MORE GAINS WHEN DRIVEN AGRESSIVELY OVER AND OVER COMPARED DYNOING THE CAR THEN A INTAKE. For example if u dyno ur car once with no intake and put the intake on withing 20 mins it might show more hp because the ECU did a hard run before that. How do i know that? because as shown in the dyno, everytime i dynoed my car, the dyno was showing that whp was increasing from the first run to 3rd by 2 whp.

Not if you control the conditions and match them. Measuring coolant temps, warm up times, ecu parameters, it will be pretty dead on. Right, I agree if you don't control those areas it can vary a great deal.

If the gains are that minimal that u have to do it in "control environment" why are u argueing with everyone that says the gains are minimal?

The gains are not minimal. They gain a good amount of average mean power means most of the power band. Peak they don't show much.

Not with everyone, just these two people that don't know **** and never tested it.
