I'd love to see the bill of doing a dyno under a "controlled" environment This is by far one of the silliest things I've ever heard of. I've been involved with dynoing and modifying cars for about 12 years now. Not just VQs, but GM and Ford V8s, Grand Nationals, Hondas, Pontiac supercharged V6s, various types of Z's, etc and I've NEVER once met a group of gearheads that are so focused on controlling the conditions and I've never heard of this until I joined the site a few years back.

The accepted dyno procedure among groups that actually race at the strip is to do the following:

1) Start the car and bring it up to operating temp
2) Strap it on the dyno, open hood, turn on fan
3) Make run
4) Turn off motor and wait 5 to 10 minutes
5) Make next pass
6) Repeat process

Some guys like to put ice on the intake manifold between runs just like they do at the track.

On average, there is about 1-2% difference in power between runs. The ONLY cars that see bigger swings in power are forced induced cars. They're far more tempermental when it comes to consistency.

We are in NO way saying Tony or Dave O are wrong. We are just ASKING for the dynos YOU ARE REFERENCING TO SUPPORT YOUR POINT. We aren't asking for ANYTHING MORE THAN WE HAVE PROVIDED. Is it so hard to post the dynos YOU IMPLY TO BE SO EASILY ACCESSIBLE?

I mean really. For the number of times we have gone around, you could have just posted the dynos LONG ago. But you CHOOSE to just flame. Hell I've even searched all posts by Dave O. I saw NO dynos during that informal search. I've dug though many, many of Tony's posts. Most deal with the spacer/Mrev products. I didn't see any specific posts about intakes only.

And I am telling you where to get them. But its obviously you don't care.
I don't have the dynos anymore on my HD. I know Tony has them and DaveO. Or they might still be on this site still somewhere.

But its pretty obvious you don't want to look like in all your other posts you cause trouble in.

Dave O has never once posted a dyno. Never. All his references stem from his involvement with his magazine affiliate.

Ask Tony is what I'm supposed to do? Jeff: "Tony, G35_TX is making claims that require dyno proof, do you have this said proof?"

Tony: "Why are you asking me on G35_TX's behalf? He should be asking me for the information if he is making the claims".

Anyone else agree that's how the discussion would go?

It would be easier to just admit you have no idea where they are or where to get them. I'd would have liked to see them too.

He has posted MANY DYNOS. Any many people can back me up on that. Another STUPID comment from you as well.

Why do you need anyone to back you? Find them and post them? I to tried digging his posts. I don't remember finding any.

You know what? Forget it Russo. There's absolutely NO point in asking you for the most basic of logical thought. You won't post dynos. Nor are you willing to do the legwork to find them. So I'm not sure why you are demanding others to do that for you

So please in the future, if you aren't going to back up what you say with anything more than "I say it's true and it's up to you to find out whether it's true or not" then just don't say anything.

You haven't been here very long to see all his posts. Remember when you both showed up, DaveO left because of idiots like yourself. No, your a complete waste of anyones time on this forum or anywhere for that matter.

Um wrong. I can search from his very first post. So your logic is once again invalid.

Dave O's frequency of posts from what I researched went down before we posted with any frequency. Dave O was actually kind enough to pop out when I posted about his Type I fan conversion. If he disliked me that much, I don't think he would have participated in that thread. Nor do I any reason to believe he has any feelings either way now.

But I DO think YOU would love to think that way. Why you bring these guy's names into this is another mystery.

And if you continue to address me in an inflammatory manner, I will be forced to report your posts again.

Again, why not just post these dynos? If we can search them, so can you. It would have been much more efficent for you to dig for these dynos and make us eat crow. At this point, you just want to flame and not contribute to this site at all. Why not just leave?

yes, your logic. Please explain in detail how it's flawed.

Hmm 10 seconds. Well unless you are the fastest typer in the history of keyboards, you have invested quite a few posts and multiple days just flaming.

Close friend huh? Then exactly WHO should be best at retreiving these mystery dynos? I, who "hasn't been here" or YOU (having DaveO as a close friend)??? One would think he would have posted these dynos to support your case. I'd like to see them. At least we would have them

I use to have them till I lost my HD that had a lot of that stuff on it. And now with his new magazine he doesn't freakin have time for stuff like this anymore. Like I said, if you want to contact him you can try and he might be able to email you.
