Any alternative places to buy Transponder key?

Has anyone purchased a new transponder key for their car from somewhere other than the dealer...hopefully cheaper too!? I ran across Streetkeys. They work out to being about $30 cheaper than the dealership. I think they just clone a key, rather than actually having the ECU learn a new key like the dealership would do. Just hoping someone has had some experience with getting a key from somwhere other than the dealership. thanks.

Personally, I hope there are no other places to get keys. This will make it harder for the car thiefs to get a copy of your key!
Just my $0.02!!!!!!!!!!!

According to that site, it's $65 for the key, and another $50 to activate it. A non activated key will not work.
I believe they're cheaper at the dealership.

Dealership wants $97 for the key and .5 hours labor @$95/hour to add the new key to the ECU...so roughly $150 when it is all said and done.

well, to add the key to the ecu you would still need the computer that infiniti uses. I think streetkeys uses something to clone the key, but they would still need your key to clone it. Either way if a theif wants your car a key is not going to stand in his way. Looks like people are already selling machines to clone keys:
