Clock

Okay, is it me, or is the clock set **** hard to turn? I just set mine back so I wouldn't forget later, and damn, it was hard to turn, took a few minutes to do, maybe my fingers are too big, LOL!

Re: Clock

You may know this already, but from what you've said it seems like you probably don't. You don't move the clock hands by manually twisting the ****, you just have to slightly twist the **** right or left and then it will electronically spin the hands in the selected direction. It starts spinning the hands slowly, and as you continue to hold it twisted, the hands spin faster.

Re: Clock

No, I did not know that, the manual just says to turn the ****, damn, LOL! So, it isn't an analog clock, just looks like one huh?

Re: Clock

...priceless. I can see you sitting in the car driving yourself insane with it I use my Navi clock and it's up all the time anyway, so I haven't futzed with the clock. I set the one in my mom's FX though and that was pretty simple... I guess it doesn't really spell it out in the manual.

Re: Clock

No, it doesn't spell it out, and you're right, it was probably funny me sitting there getting impatient with the damned thing, LOL! I haven't even had the car two weeks, so I'm still learning stuff!

Re: Clock

OMG! I thought I was the only one that did this kind of stuff. It's a wonder you did not twist the **** right off. Whew!

Re: Clock

Re: Clock

Very timely post (ha ha). I learned something!!
Over the weekend I was trying to reset my clock. Yep, I found the **** hard to turn and stopped before I twisted it off.
Now I I know....its electronic. I guess us older guys who grew up in the pre-digital era expected the analog clock to operate like a real analog clock!
Oh well, just another item about the clock I don't like. To me it looks out of place compared to the other guages and is hard to read.

Re: Clock

Then what do "real" men do? Cover the blinking "12:00" on their VCR with electrical tape?
