'05 G... R.I.P. '07 Here I come!!

Here's some pics of my '05 6MT that got demolished while parked in front of my work. Some idiot was doing hot laps up and down the street and plowed right into her. I was heart broken when I came out to see what happened. Imaculate with only 12k miles...what a waste! Anyway, it was a blessing in disguise because my insurance totaled it and now I can get the '07 next month. VQ35HR here I come!!

That doesn't look totalled to me but whatever. Is your front lip damaged? You should be to sell that and the wheels.

doesn't look so bad in pics but in person...ouch! there was a lot of hidden damage that totaled it. about 23k to be exact. front lip is toast, wheels are fine besides one having a small curb rash due to the accident. and yes they did let me keep them.

That DEFINITELY looks totalled. I don't think some of you realize what it costs to fix everything on that car.

the good thing is that you were not in it. My car was written off as well over a year ago, but I was hurt pretty bad. Similar damage except for the front. The frame and wheels were bent to ****.

Absolutely. Not to mention it would never be the same even if they tried to fix it. The frames on these cars do not re-align well. Would love to get hold of a motor out of a totaled '07 though. Wish I had some contacts in the wrecking biz.

Can you pull the front lip off and send it to me for a test-fit on the 03/04 aero bumper?

Problem even with totalling is that you can get an unexpected out of pocket expense. All of a sudden, you are having to start over, so paying the depreciation on your car (unless you were to go out and buy another equivalent used car, which if you kept your car maintained well can be a gamble).

^^+1 subframe, suspension, exhaust and you still have to look under the hood. You'll be surprised what get damage in a collision. She's definitely a goner.

BTW, look like some sticky finger got your clear corner.
