Hey guys, Im atlking about just the pedal here, when im letting off the clutch it squeaks like a door in a scarey movie. What am I looking for to grease, and what type of grease should I use?
(or should I just let the dealer take care of it?)

It may be the petal or just the spring on it. You can grease it or even just try some WD40 or spray lubricant on it.

 

I have the same annoying problem.... Does it only happen when your in gear? Mine does, and it doesn't happen when I press the clutch in neutral... Kinda odd.

 

I get that occasionally. Minor irritation, kink of like the rattling window.

 

it only happens on the way up, when im letting OFF the clutch. it can happen when in in neutral, it has nothing to do with the transmission, its just a squeaky pedal. I'll try the WD40... anyone have any recommendations for something long-lasting?

 

I am having the same problem. Is this something that our warrenty will cover?

 

I don't know if I'd call it a "problem". i've had other manual cars where the clutch pedal made one noise or another...I just learn to live with it...

 

look under your dash and spray some wd40 behind the clutch pedal...where i guess the linkage is...it looks like a medal cylinder going into the wall...that's

what got rid of the squeaking for me

 

i had a hardbody nissan truck that did that lithium grease in spray works great and long lasting
