Thumbs up Rear Seat Removal ?

I know this has had to been covered but i cant find a thread about it.. How do you remove your rear seats?? I dont want to go back their and start pulling away and **** something up. Thanks

Here you go:


Remove the bottom and then each side of the rear.

It's not that bad. If it's like mine, you just pop off the bottom and then remove a few bolts to get each side off. You don't need to mess with the arm rest unless you are taking off the rear deck.

What are you doing anyway?

Yeah it's not bad then. I took mine out when I did my amps and then again when I changed out my rear deck. It's like a 10-15 minute job.

Yea i checked it out and it doesnt look to bad. What is the Actual Weight difference 30-40 pounds ?

coool just like my other car...i was gonna get down and dirty and take mine off b/c i am going to redo my rear windshield. My rear deck needs to be removed as well so i dont have a ugly outline of my brake light. guess when i do that ill also take it to the track

I don't think it's that much. Maybe more like 20 but I may be wrong.

well ive got all my seats out except the middle part where the arm rest fits iinto? how the hell can u get it out? i took the push pins out and the other 2 plugs on each side of it but its not budging!?
