Also, when I had my Borla TD, I noticed that it absolutely killed my MPGs. I went from 19mpg in the city to 14mpg in the city. Same driving style.

I experienced the same thing on my car when I put on the stillen exhaust. And the mrev. And the cats. And the test pipes. And the airbox. Every time I've touched an intake or exhaust component(except for the k&n filter), my next tank has gone to pot. The tank after that would be fine.

Just a random thing, i just moved to Salt Lake city temporarily, from Houston. about 5000ft above sea level here, and its great! my MPG on my G have significantly increased, from 14 mpg in the city to a steady 18-19 in mostly city driving. Though, i also get a rather noticeable power drain from this damnnnn less dense air. Also, they only sell 91 octane here at most cause of the higher elevation. Now, i thought the intake woudl compensate for lower air density, but i guess there's a point where it can't compensate any further, adn it just has to lower the fuel injection rate/volume to get proper combustion. saving gas though! less power

I bought my 06 6MT Sedan on 10/13/06. I have filled her up for the 3rd time now and have already average 20 mpg on the first tank, 21 mpg on the second tank. The first two fills I took it easy for the break-in period. Now I am over 1300 miles on my car - so I won't be so easy on her and we will see how it effects my mpg.
Also my drive is in Atlanta bumper-to-bumper traffic everyday - so my mpg is strickly city driving. I am curious if my highway mpg will match the advertised mpg.
Bottom line - I didn't buy this car for its wonderful MPG - if i wanted that, I would have bought a camry hybrid or something. I love the raw power it has to offer. Hell, my brother Honda Pilot matches my MPG....so I don't really care about it honestly.

As for pure highway driving, I typically see 28-29mpg and that's with a wife/child/50+lbs of gear on board. I almost cracked 30mpg on my way to St. Augustine, FL.

Mods are listed in my sig, but they haven't really effected the mpg, it's always been bad. And I don't floor it, very rarely. I drive pretty conservative, that's why I'm pissed. I understand if I was racing around all the time, I wouldn't bitch about the mileage.
My question is, is there something that could be hurting my mpg? Fuel filter? i have no idea.
