While your down there I would recommend cleaning your Mass Air Flow sensor/screen if it's at all dirty with a MAF specific cleaner. It will make a big difference.

Does your G have a screen before the maf? I am used to seeing the screens on past vehicles but mine does not have it. Just curious.

Mine doesn't.

And cleaning the sensor did nothing for mine but it's still a good idea.

I was putting my z tube in and noticed the lack of one. I had always heard it was good catching debris the filter might miss and also for straightning airflow or reducing turbulence.

That slideshow/installation instructions page is great, but is there a more efficient way to print it out instead of printing 45 different pages w/ the pics? lol

Z-Tube Install

ALthough this doesn't include the JWT install...it will get you through the removal/replacement of the intake...hopefully it will reduce the number of pages you need to print out for the JWT portion.

Mine has a screen. That's how I noticed it was dirty. I just bought an 03.5 5AT and wanted to start modding. I took out the stock airbox to go with a Stillen Pop/Ztube and the screen was basically white with dirt/film. So i picked up some CRC Mass Air Flow cleaner and oh my god, the dirt from the screen came right off and it was filthy. Then I reset my ECU, I think the car adjusted to the new mods and a cleaner MAF and my car's accelleration off the line seems twice as fast and shifts much better/quicker. Obviously the owner before me didn't go near the MAF or the intake cause it was filty. The car had 50K miles.

My 03.5 had the screen - when I cleaned the MAF, I noticed my gas mileage improved by 2-3 mpg (up to 22mpg). But I never reset the ECU...I was confused about the instructions in the ECU reset link...wasn't sure if it worked or not. Since you got noticeable results, how did you reset it>
