will an 05 bumper fit an 03???? and if so how much custom work would be needed???

Nope, it won't bolt straight up. The design around the headlights is different. You are better off getting an Aero (nismo) front bumper. There is a group buy gearing up soon.

get the nismo kit, look much nicer.
