Squeaky center armrest/compartment

The armrest is sort of loose and it squeaks. Anyone has instructions on how to remove the whole metal trim/compartment? I can pull on it and it comes out but i'm afriad i might break something that i can't see underneath.

Not sure but my dealer fixed it under warranty. I bought it in the shop for my first oil change at 3K, wheel alignment, and squeak. No charge.

Unhappy

I found a service bulletin for this problem on my '05 sedan.
Website: http://www.infinitihelp.com/Infiniti...G35/2005/1.htm

I printed a copy of the bulletin for my local Infiniti service guy. After about 6 weeks...the squeak is back, just not as consistent as it was before the fix.

Is it the rubber stopper? I looked at mine and one of the stopper is missing. The other one doesn't seem to be big enough to sit flush.

Seems like it could well be the missing rubber stopper. See bulletin 05032. The P/N for replacement rubber stoppers is 68643-4P000.

I put a cork stopper in there to fill the gap so it wont move.

My 05 coupe does not have any rubber stoppers, is this why the armest is so noisy and annoying? Will this solve the noise?

It's an improved rubber stopper. The old ones were soft(caused the noise) while the new ones are harder. They cost $4.55 each at the stealership.
