I have to agree, the VQ had been massaged and worked over for many years now. There will be gains, but they will be negligible. I'll bet that you will never get more than 10 more HP with "bolt ons". You will have to re-map fuel delivery, cam timing (already has variable valve timing on BOTH cams now), and maybe rework the intake extensively.

FI is the ONLY way you will make "substantial" gains now.
