M3 Spoiler...would It Work?

Is the M3 spoiler the same or close to the width of my trunk. Found a good deal on them at www.spoilerdepot.com

You can bet them cheaper (like $20 or less) on ebay.

I don't know, but others on the forum have purchased them and put them on their cars (look under the sedan picture thread). I have heard some on this forum question the quality of spoiler depot's finishing work and painting.

which one are you looking at, there seems to be a few choices, plus different years/generations likely have different sizes. It doesn't look much different than the lip spoilers you can find on ebay that are about 8 times cheaper

Are you sure the one Vodka had on his car was for an M3 though? Or was it an M3 style spoiler.

Basically this is wassup, I went to buy some GT Spec bars off of him one time and was like, "hey I like your spoiler". And then he said, "oh thanks, but its just one of those cheap ones on ebay".

I wasn't really in the market for a spoiler at that time, so I didn't get into if it was a generic M3 spoiler for an M3, or a generic M3 spoiler for a G35. But I'm assuming the latter.

On ebay they list the length of spoilers though, to really find out maybe someone should just measure the length of our trunks.

Hey so I went out with a tape measure and I measured the trunk lid. It is about 45", so I guess the ebay sizes are correct. If you're going to buy it through Spoiler Depot, you might want to ask them how long the spoiler is first.

the m3 spoiler off ebay for around 15 dollars works fine. i have a 45" and there is a small gap on iether side of the trunk, so my advice is go for the 47". the lip spoilers on ebay are made of a rubber material that needs to be painted and clear HARD coated. if you dont get the hard clear coat it is going to be flimsy and never look the same color as your G. Just take it down to your local body shop and get it painted. the final cost of mine including shipping, paint, and fitment was about 65$, which i think is a great deal compared to some other spoilers.
Good Luck,
