How well does the traction control work if you launch hard in 1st on a turo car? Is it violent and harsh in a bad or good way. Can you keep it floor'd and let it do its thing or do you need to lift off? Can you do a video of a TC'd launch and non TC driver modulated launch?

I'll take a video like that but it will be a few days. I won't have any time until at least Monday.

It's about like it was with the SC, violent. If you keep it to the floor it will come back on but I just let off. 95% of the time I have it off anyway.

Weather has been $hit here the last two days. The black mesh looks way better and I'll get some pics when it clears up.

I forgot to tell you guys something else. I am 95% sure the power steering cooler needs to be moved. I got a larger one and we installed it at the same time but I believe the oem one will not fit in the same place. You may be able to keep it and move it but I'm not sure.

Glad you had a good trip. Most of Goa is a place I would never visit again if I have the choice. We are working on a program for the India Defense Ministry and a few of us have been over there. I would like to pass the next time.

Anyway, welcome back and enjoy your time with your fiancé.

Hey Ttrank--I was advised by ATI that when the traction control is engaged--especially at a higher RPM the ECU has a tendency to go lean when TC kicks in. They advise that I disengage the VDC when driving...don't know if your setup would be any different, but thought you would like to know.

Didn't know that. Thanks for the info. My UTEC is in control above 3psi of boost but you never know. It's just too hard to drive with VDC on because it kicks in too often so it's a good thing I keep it off.

I hear ya....I only use it when its wet...which in Bakersfield is not often...kinda like AZ. Otherwise I've got into the habit of turning it off. I don't know just paranoid...

It's always good to be safe. The KP VDC module is a great idea for the times you forget to turn it off!
