The new benchmark...looks sick even with the hood closed! You've further extended the gap with tasteful mods, some of which are one-off and won't be duplicated. I think this is beyond a top sedan, it's a top G.

The grille is staying chrome since there is so much other chrome on my car. I like it that way. I am going to try and paint the mesh black this week. I need to get more for the center anyway.

Those pics are in Prescott, about an hour north of me where I grew up. I live in north Phoenix but there are still lots of nice quiet places like that around me too. Sometimes you can really see that it's the 5th largest city in the country and other times it feels much smaller.

Took the bumper cover off tonight and painted the mesh gloss black. I did the first few coats with spray plastic coating and then a few coats of gloss black SUV trim paint and a few coats of clear. I also put the stock hood back on to see how it looks.

I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Had my first kill tonight. A mid-90's 911 Porsche (non-turbo). He thought he was hot $hit next to my sedan when I revved her up. He gave me a look like “right…” The look on his face as I ran away from him was classic. We came to the next light and he wanted to go again. This time I really got into it and made him look even worse. It was not a real challenge but still a lot of fun.
