Hello guys. I have been browsing this forum for a while now; finally decided to register. I drive a J-Spec 2001 Nissan Skyline 250GT; just has suspension mods and 18's at this stage. Cheers for a great forum.

And since it's a 2001, the engine displacement (2.5L) is different than our engines (3.5L). Nothing wrong at all daring to be different out in the crowd

BTW skyline, welcome to the forum!

Low quality pic of the engine bay, looks a bit dirty but I assure you it's spotlessly clean.

Runs a VQ25DD, 2.5l DOHC 24v V6.
Makes about 160kw of power and 270nm of torque. It's very smooth and quiet and has enough grunt to pass most cars on the road. This one has a 4-speed auto, the same one that Nissan used in the 300zx, Skyline, etc. A 5-speed, 6-speed and 8-speed auto are available as well. The 8-speed is a CVT transmission.

Interior has suede upholstery and is a similar spec to the US cars. This forum has helped me quite a bit in fixing small problems. The two cars are identical in specification; apart from the motor.

Thats amazing that yours came with suede upholstery stock, lucky on that. Ive been modding mine to put suede on the pillars all around, door handles and headliner. You can check out the pics in this thread [https://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130832].

Can you take some upclose pics of the suede upholstery that came stock on this car?

Welcome to 'Driver, Skyline250GT, and congrats on the super clean ride.

That's one we don't get to see at all here in Canada....I'd love to hear (and see) more about it when you get a chance.......she's a beaut.......

Colin.

Good to see someone from Downunder joining the forum. Welcome aboard mate. I would be interested in the differences between what we get in North America and what you get in New Zealand or Australia. Are there performance packages or options that we can't get here? Let us know.
