Strange buzzing noise...
Hi all,
Just wondering if any came across this loud buzzing noise coming from our sedans stock muffler.
I started my car like usual tonight after working, and I heard this really loud buzzing noise coming from the outside of my car. My windows were up and the radio was off at the time, but I heard somekind of sharp buzzing noise on the outside of my car. When I walked around to the tail end of the car by the muffler, the noise became louder and sharper.
Should I bring my car to the dealership for service, or is this kind of sound fixable on our own? I'm kindda worried of my car now, coz I heard that same sound a second time after I came back home, and restarted the car. Is this something I should really worry about?
Any thoughts, opinions, and/or suggestions would help me a lot. Thanks.

Check out the mounting nuts on the bottom side for your exhaust tips. Make sure the nuts are tight. If the nuts are slightly loose, they will allow movement of the tip and produce a buzzing noise during pre-warmup operation.
Also, verify that all of your exhaust hardware is in good shape, i.e. your heat shields, mounting brackets, etc. Just make sure everything is cold before you start grabbing and shaking parts.
