Any "X" owners thinking about boosting?

Regardless, the additional 70-90whp will take it's toll on the clutch packs on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.
The stillen is not that hard on the AT. It's boost curve is very linear so it comes on gradually. It just starts early so it feels much stronger down low than the other SC kits which don't start for a while. A turbo or twin-turbo will be much harder because once boost comes on it ramps up very quickly.

Urban has 42,000 miles running TT with 430 WHP without VB upgrade.
There was quite a few runnig FI without VB upgrade from this thresd below.
https://g35driver.com/forums/forced-induction/112848-all-fi-without-valve-body-upgeade-report-here.html
I am going to try without first & if I feel any sluggish shifting or bounce
off rev limiter, I'll do the VB upgrade. I just don't see how a 5AT could run 42,000 miles without VB at 420WHp, if the transmission is so weak.
There's got to be somthing else that cause transmission failuire, not just lack of VB upgrade. Also, I am not sure if Level 10 or SGP, which way to go?

HKS Supercharged AWD G
I just picked up my car, feel & sounded nice! You can hear the super charger, but quieter than Stillen/Vortech, which I like. Feels stronger than the BMW 335i I test drove recently, much stronger than 07 G I also test drove. That makes me happy.
I have not floored the pedal except just once to see where the AFR would go.
The Shift is still quick, probably due to the 10 wire ground, no lagging for 1-2, 2-3 shift so far. I left it in Auto.
The tranmission tempreture gone up 20 degrees, from 125 before to 145 at highest, which is still well below 175-180 danger zoon, so I think no need for a cooler yet.
Idle gone up by 100, from 700 to now 800, but steady & smooth. Super charger runnig smooth & cool to the touch.
Interestingly, the Engine temp. has gone down just a bit, probably due to the
great amount of cool air coming in.
The AFR went down just a bit, from 14.6 idle to 14.2 idle, WOT wend from 12.7 to 12.2. I wonder if it's considered running lean a bit?
No codes. Everything seems running smooth. Knock on wood, I'll baby it for a few weeks before go testing a 1/4 mile run.
The whole thing weight in ~60lbs, but I took out ~15lbs of stock components, so net weight gain is ~45 lbs. My BBK & Light weight battery also shaved 25lbs from stock, so my front end is now about 20 lb havier than a normal G35x.
Knock on wood, Hope nothing breaks.

These trannies are indeed the same ones used in the Q/M, but those V8 motors only make an additional 35-45whp/40wtq over the VQ35. Adding 80-100whp and 60-90wtq will push the limits. The problem could be easily solved by using heavier duty clutch packs (maybe out of the Titan Jatco 5AT).
