NYC G35 Owners = Some Advice Please
You don't need AWD is NYC, because it almost NEVER snows.
i have a RWD and haven't had issues in a couple of inches of snow out on long island...like most people already said, the VDC is pretty good. i've actually seen the VDC light come on more often when i drive on wet road compared to snow, but i've never lost control of the car. [this is my 1st rwd car, too]
if the only thing keeping you from getting the RWD is the snow issue, you can always get a set of snow tires to give you some peace of mind.
are you looking at an 03 or an 03.5? because 03 vs 04comparison is different than 03.5 vs 04...

I think the '03 was the only year with a crank driven radiator fan. They switched to an electric fan for the '03.5s and up.
