To the guys with Tire pressure sensor errors, do you have any after market audio gear. Seriously! I just disconnected my mac mini power supply from power and ignition wires going to the radio and viola my TPMS light hasn't come on for a couple of days (yesterday I drove a couple hundred miles). Today I'm going to run a new power cable and tap into the cigarette lighter for my remote wire. Hopefully that will be the last of my TPMS light problems.

50K and no ses light yet. . . However driving on the hwy for more then 15min will turn on the TPMS (tire pressure) light. Thought it would go away once i added the new rims with out the sensors but the same thing after about 15min on the hwy blink it's on. .
I had an SES @ 500 miles. bad MAF -- I don't understand that? The car didn't show any signs of a bad MAF. I am up to 3500 miles and I've not had any issues [knock on wood]. My Maxima's never went 6 months with out some kind of SES light. I wanted to change the bulb so it was blue, at least it would have looked cool.
Thanks for posting this important information, saved me time and money in the process after the SES light came on, I reset the ECU (pedal method): no more issues.
Perhaps this thing can be triggered by extreme temperatures as the day it came on it was 99 degrees in the DC area.

Had my first experience with this a couple of days ago. It happened to me after filling the tank. Checked to owner's manual, tightened the gas cap. Two starts later light was gone. Had me worried for a little while but resolved itself quickly thank goodness.
I wish I would have read this thread before I took my 03 G35 in for the check engine soon light. Diagnostic test was $125 which conveniently went towards any repairs needed. They pulled the code and it turned out to be P0456 SM EVAP LEAK. All test cae back OK/Negative. After reading this thread it all makes sense, I got gas right before the light went on. I did not realize I could have rest the computer myself. To reset/reporgram ECM was 2 hours of labor costing $210. Duped by the dealer!!!!! And to think I was about to trade my g in for a 08 g35xs at the same dealer.

mine came on at exactly 50,000 miles. i figured since the warranty expires at that time it was a schedualed maintanance. im still driving it like that, lets see if it shuts off withing the 100 times i start it.
